Drazen Premate - President/CEO

DRAZEN E. PREMATE - President/ CEO/ Chairman & Founder of International Space Systems, Inc. – Drazen was born in Pula, Croatia in 1956 exactly 100 years after the birth of a great countryman and inventor Nikola Tesla. Drazen even followed the footsteps of Nikola Tesla by coming to the United States as a 17 year old with nothing more than a suitcase and a pocket full of dreams.

Drazen first completed high school at Fairview High in Erie, Pennsylvania.  He then decided to pursue science and space education in the United States.  Drazen completed a Bachelor degree in Physics from the University of Central Florida (Orlando, FL) in 1978 and a Masters degree in Space Technology from private Florida Institute of Technology (FIT) in Melbourne, FL in 1980 (first European with such a degree).  Drazen also has over 20 years of experience of being an entrepreneur (Since 1982).

In 1980 Drazen was the founder of non-profit Inter Space Society operating under FIT umbrella. The objective of this Society was to promote and foster student space experiments via use of low cost programs such as Get Away Special (GAS). ISS assisted numerous groups and GAS projects that later flew on the Space Shuttle.

In 1982 Drazen formed a private space company in the U.S. called International Space Corporation (ISC). Under ISC Drazen negotiated a Joint Endeavor Agreement with NASA for seven free Shuttle flights (worth over $25 million) to test a state-of-the-art ISC furnace ( Normal Freezing Furnace - NFF) to grow expensive and much higher quality electronic crystals in zero gravity of space. The NFF was at the time about five years ahead of then existing NASA furnace technology.

Drazen also found 58 private investors and a total of $1.5 million in private capital to finance ISC. Ground operating NFF furnace and half of space qualified one nearly 6 ft long was designed and built when the Challenger accident in 1986 and NASA's decision in 1988 to pull out of the Shuttle all of commercial payloads ended the ISC venture. Drazen realized then that for as long as transportation to space was in the hands of the government only, the chances of commercialization of space were slim. He waited to come back to Space field once Private Space was possible and Drazen decided that 2004 was the right year to do that.

Between 1989 and 2004 Drazen undertook the business challenge of connecting the new Eastern Europe or New Europe with United Stated via three different companies Drazen formed during that time period - New Europe Ventures, American Business Center (Croatian Company) and NEWEUROPE™ Corporation “Do you want something European?”™ slogan is the synonym of Drazen’s efforts to introduce the best of New Europe has to offer in the United States such as NEWEUROPE™ Cafes, NEWEUROPE™ Chocolate Stores, NEWEUROPE™ Music, Media & Entertainment, NEWEUROPE.NET Portal.

Drazen is also founder of CTP Energy Corporation involved in research of new energy that could one day replace chemical and fossil fuel energy. Also understanding and application of the CTP Energy Cycle™ even more importantly could one day lead to our ability to control and manipulate gravity and communicate instantly via so called C-Domain regardless of distance involved and thus space travel could change dramatically (no rocket or other propulsion technology needed) and space could become accessible to everyone.

Drazen’s dream of Private Space and “Space for Everyone”™ will now become reality via International Space Systems (ISS) Drazen founded in July 2004. Drazen plans to involve millions of average people via Private Space Club (PSC) and Individual Space Mission Passes (ISMPs) via Internet that will fund such exciting private space missions. “Average citizens of the United States and the World are ready for Private Space. They believe in it. They want it. They want to participate in it. They are ready to invest in it. We at ISS will give it to them,” says Drazen.
